Trap Practice Shoot

Whether you’re already registered for the FPC Trap Tournament or you’re thinking about signing up and want to see what trap shooting is all about, this practice shoot is for you!
We’ll walk through the tournament format by shooting full 5-person squads, giving everyone the opportunity to experience a complete round exactly as it will be played during the tournament. It’s a great opportunity to learn the game, ask questions, build confidence, and enjoy an evening of fellowship.
Cost: $5 per person (helps cover the cost of clay targets)
You MUST register by Friday, 8/28 5pm in order to shoot!
Please Bring: $5
- Your own shotgun
- #8 shot shells we will have some available for $10 a box (box=25 shells)
- Eye protection (Required) we will have some available if needed
- Ear protection (Required) we will have some available if needed
- A lawn chair if you’d like to sit between rounds (seating will not be provided)
Need to Borrow a Shotgun?
If you don’t have a shotgun but would like to participate, simply let us know during registration and we’ll do our best to have one available for you.

Safety First
For everyone’s safety, all firearms must be brought cased. Before shooting begins, we will conduct a brief safety inspection of every firearm and review range safety procedures.

We’ll be shooting in the evening so everyone can enjoy cooler temperatures and a more comfortable experience.
Location
The practice shoot will be held at the Higginbotham property in Creedmoor – the same location where First Pentecostal Church hosts its annual Fall Festival.This is OPEN for anyone to come spectate – so bring your family!
