Hope Corps is a program that advances the kingdom of God by involving Apostolic young people, singles, couples, and retirees in meaningful kingdom-building missions. It is an opportunity for active saints, with permission and oversight of their pastor, to sharpen their skills and awaken their passion for evangelism.
The program has two parts - instruction and experience. First, students enroll in Wilson University which provides four online courses (12 university credits) in subjects such as Biblical Principles, Theology, Leadership and Culture. Students will then register for an Intensive Training Week (ITW) in a domestic or foreign location. The ITW is intense, spiritual and practical. Most of all it is life-changing! The Hope Corps graduation ceremony is held annually at the Summit conference in September. At that point, students become alumni, and join the growing blue army. Alumni have the opportunities to serve and are offered suggestions for service through trips and projects. Perhaps most importantly, they return home to be a great blessing to their pastor and local and make a real impact for the kingdom of God in their city!
